Who am I?

I am a skilled marketing professional who has worn many marketing and creative hats over the last 17 years. While a graphic designer by trade, I also have experience in every aspect of marketing from sales, project management, social media management and web development. I possess a solid grasp of how to best visually communicate marketing strategies, which I have refined through my small business experience and creative marketing approach.

My understanding of the various touchpoints in the marketing arena allows me to see the bigger picture of a project and I work hard to meet the big picture goals. This makes me a great asset when it comes to brand strategy. I have been building and executing brand strategies for the past 17 years. I learned a lot during my internship in 2006 with Habitat for Humanity about creating a solid brand for a large-scale organization and I still use those tools today for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism.

When I’m not working in the marketing space, I am an artist and I help my husband on our small farm. As an artist, I specialize in public art intended to engage and interact with the viewer. I most enjoy blending my marketing and art experience by providing window art for local small businesses. I aim to offer creative marketing solutions that add charm and organic social media reach for businesses within the community. Community matters to me deeply and I get a lot of joy out of enriching my community with my skills.

As a person, I am a mother of four daughters. I value honesty, empathy, analytical thinking and collaboration with those I work alongside.

What inspires my art?

Pop art, Post-Impressionism, Expressionism and Surrealism each speak straight to my soul. I find that each style plays a roll in my personal aesthetic. While these styles are different in style and concept, they all rely on strong compositions and bold colors to express a variety of ideas, thoughts and emotions. To me, each compliment one another and they all unveil an alternate version of reality, one that is either whimsical, optimistic, playfully sarcastic or uncomfortably raw.

What is my graphic design style?

I consider my designs to be clean, thoughtful, functional and colorful. I make it a priority to understand the audience I’m speaking to through a design and to do so well. I do well at helping people visually communicate the values and identity of their brand. I focus on consistency and meeting client goals.
